How long does the guarantee last?
The guarantee on placed implants is lifetime. The guarantee on prosthetic work is five years. It is valid with regular annual check-ups and maintenance. Just as the finest car needs regular servicing to last, implant work needs regular check-ups to stay stable and functional over the long term.
What does the guarantee cover?
Mechanical problems of the implant system and the prosthetic work: damage or breakage of implant components, problems with the connection between the implant and the prosthetic abutment, breakage or damage of screws and other technical elements, as well as technical problems arising from the quality or fabrication of components.
What does the guarantee not cover?
Biological complications, because they depend on factors that cannot be fully controlled: bone loss around the implant (peri-implantitis), infections and inflammation around the implant, the consequences of insufficient oral hygiene, changes in general health that affect healing and stability, and smoking. Regular check-ups and professional maintenance reduce these risks to a minimum.
Who fixes a problem if one appears?
Every case is handled individually. Prosthetic and technical problems are handled by Dr Anđela Pavlović and Dr Neda Milenković, implant problems by Dr Majda Čolić. We usually reply to enquiries straight away, most often within an hour or two.
Who bears the costs?
If the work is covered by the guarantee, the practice bears the cost of the work and the necessary corrections. The patient bears the cost of coming, travel and accommodation.
How is treatment paid?
Nothing is paid upfront. Fifty per cent is paid on the day of the procedure, and the remaining fifty per cent on the last day of treatment.
