How the treatment works
Phase 1
Examination and consultation
The first step is an examination and a conversation. For patients from abroad the first examination can also happen online, through photographs, X-rays and a video call; on arrival at the practice we carry out a thorough examination and diagnostics.
Phase 2
Preparing the teeth
Before an aesthetic rehabilitation every tooth must be healthy and stable: where needed we treat teeth and root canals, replace old fillings and reconstruct damaged teeth. A healthy foundation extends the life of the work.
Phase 3
Preparation and impressions
The teeth are prepared under local anaesthesia, painlessly. The digital scans go to the laboratory, and you receive temporary crowns immediately: at no point are you without teeth.
Phase 4
The try-in of your future smile
The most important phase: at the try-in you see the shape, size and length of your future teeth and how they sit with your face and lips. Anything you do not like, we change, until the result satisfies you completely.
Phase 5
Choosing the shade
The shade is chosen from a professional palette, guided by your wishes, your complexion and the natural look of the smile. Some patients want a strikingly white smile, others more natural tones; the final decision is always shared.
Phase 6
The definitive work
Once every detail is confirmed, the laboratory makes the definitive crowns. At the final try-in we check function, bite, aesthetics and comfort, and the crowns are then permanently cemented.
