1. Phase 1

   First visit: five working days

   A CBCT scan and the treatment plan, then implant placement. Four or six implants carry the whole arch, and the fixed temporary restoration is placed in the same visit. The five days are there for a reason: after an All-on procedure we advise against flying or travelling straight away. You do not leave without teeth.

   After an All-on procedure we advise against flying or travelling immediately, as these are larger interventions. Rest and avoiding heavier physical effort are recommended for the first few days. That is why the first visit lasts five days. With one or a few single implants, travel is possible as early as the day after the procedure.

2. At home

   Three to six months of healing

   The implant fuses with the bone. Through that time you wear the temporary restoration, at home, and live normally.

3. Phase 3

   Second visit: four days

   Impressions and the try-in of the definitive restoration. You choose the shape, size and shade of the teeth, with as many try-ins as it takes for you to be satisfied. Only when you approve the look does the work go into fabrication.

4. Phase 4

   Third visit: two days

   Checking and fitting the definitive restoration. That means three visits and eleven days in total, and it is better to know that now.

The questions people actually ask

How many times do I need to come?

Three visits: five working days for the scan, the plan and implant placement with the temporary restoration, then four days for impressions and the try-in of the definitive restoration, and finally two days for checking and fitting. Eleven days in total, arranged around three to six months of healing.

Do I leave without teeth?

No. The fixed temporary restoration is placed in the same visit as the implants, so you leave the practice with teeth. The definitive restoration comes after healing.

Why does the first visit last five days?

After an All-on procedure we advise against flying or travelling straight away, as it is a larger intervention after all. The recommendation is to rest for a couple of days and lift nothing heavy. If one or a few single implants are placed, travel is possible as early as the day after the procedure.

When do I learn the final price?

At the free consultation, after the examination and the CBCT scan: the treatment plan and the final price, before anything is agreed. Bone grafting, sinus lift and sedation are not part of the packages, and the scan is exactly what shows them.

Yes. At the second visit you choose the shape, size and shade, with as many try-ins as it takes for you to be satisfied. The work goes into fabrication only when you approve the look.
