What veneers solve

There are also composite veneers, shaped directly on the tooth in a single visit: quicker and more affordable, but shorter-lived, three to five years, and they can discolour over time. Which type you are a candidate for, including ultra-thin no-prep veneers in specific cases, is assessed by the doctor at the examination.

The procedure, in three steps

1. Step 1

   Consultation and planning

   The doctor examines the teeth, discusses your wishes, shape, colour and size, and takes a digital impression of your smile.

2. Step 2

   Preparation and temporary veneers

   Where needed, the surface layer of enamel is lightly prepared, less than a millimetre, completely painlessly under local anaesthesia. A precise impression goes to the laboratory, and you receive temporary shells.

3. Step 3

   Try-in and bonding

   The finished ceramic veneers are first tried on the teeth. When everything is as you want it, they are bonded with a special medical cement, and the new smile is ready.

According to the practice’s current price list, per tooth. Care is simple: a brush, floss and regular check-ups, just as for natural teeth.
